At the cake Studio “Art Meets Taste” and sometimes fashion meets taste. Their ‘Welcome to Spring Cake‘ is a wedding cake design inspired by a soft teal dress. The creator behind The Cake Studio, Lori-Ann Foley, chose a bolder medium teal for the main colour of the cake and accents like Swiss dots, lace applique, and geometric patterns were added to create dimension and contrast with the overall effect of drawing ones eye to each of the of the four tiers of the cake. A cascade of round and full sugar flowers like garden roses, peonies, ranunculus, and roses in blush tones were added to give the cake a fresh burst of colour and to welcome spring the beginning wedding season. So that each of the flowers could be enjoyed in its own right and not just be apart of a block of blush, she broke up the soft colours with dark green sugar succulents. A beautiful looking cake, must taste amazing and some of our popular flavours are chocolate, vanilla , almond and red velvet.
